Around England with a camera – West Dean Gardens
If there is something islanders are proud of, it is their gardens. So a visit of one of their gardens was mandatory and we choose West Dean Gardens as it was sort of on our way towards West.
West Dean college is located inside the arboretum.
Mighty trees greet you near the entrance – no need to say there’s many sorts in the park
Everything is very tidy with waterways crisscrossing the parks – you are in for a very relaxing walk.
Edwardian pergola is one of the biggest in the world – it’s almost 100m long!
There’s also a large number of greenhouses growing everything from fruits, flowers to vegetables.
Did I mention flowers?
This was my favorite greenhouse – the CHILLI one hundreds of different chilli plants under one roof
